The STAT MedEvac Observer Program offers individuals the opportunity to observe flight crews in action during air medical transport missions. It provides valuable insight into the daily operations of air medical professionals and the life-saving services they perform.

Eligible participants include healthcare professionals (e.g., nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists) or students currently enrolled in medical, EMS, or related training programs. Observers must meet the following criteria:

Observer shifts typically last 12 hours, depending on the base’s operational schedule. Shifts usually start at 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM and continue for the duration of the day. Observers are expected to stay for the entire shift unless otherwise arranged in advance.
