Responsibilities
Care of critically ill and injured patients transported by the STAT MedEvac System. Function in the field, aircraft, and hospital environments after an extensive orientation. In summary, responsibilities include patient care, which incorporates advanced assessment, stabilization and intervention skills reflecting current EMT/Paramedic standards; maintenance of aircraft supplies and equipment; and support of other operational duties. Patient care may require independent judgment with utilization of protocols and standards of care. Will accept assignment at any STAT MedEvac base site.
Requirements
» Nationally Registered EMT-P with extensive professional critical care or emergency experience (3 year minimum)
» Current ACLS, ITLS, CPR, PALS, NRP, passport, driver’s license and reliable transportation
» Applicants must work 12-hour or 24-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays
» Cannot exceed 210 lbs. in weight and 6′ 2″ in height

Purpose:
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- FAA Private Pilot License with Instrument Rating or equivalent experience plus preferred.
- Control Tower Operator license or equivalent experience with good radio skills preferred.
- FAA Commercial or Airline Transport Pilot License with Instrument Rating preferred.
- FAA Dispatcher Certificate preferred.
- AA/AS degree having aviation applications preferred.
- One year supervisory experience preferred.
