As April comes to a close, we want to remember the importance of this month; It’s National Donate Life Month. In the United States, every nine minutes someone joins the national transplant waiting list. Unfortunately, every day in the United States, 17 people on that list pass away waiting for an organ. It’s truly a sad statistic, but there is hope, thanks to organ donors.  

Living donation is a transplant option that can reduce wait times on the transplant waiting list and save lives with those who are in end-stage liver or kidney failure.   • Folks hard of hearing LOVE Mike’s singing voice (They think he sounds like John Denver).
  • Mike recorded an Album in 1980 that went #1 on the Charts in Malawi (No kidding)!
  • In China, it is documented Mike’s ancestors were known for service and compassion to their fellow man as early as the 12th Century Song Dynasty and as recently as his Grandfather.

  • While learning about the types of bone fractures in middle school, Karen passed out and they sent her home for the day.
  • Karen was originally planning to go to college to play field hockey. One week before pre-season, she decided to apply to the local nursing school in Lancaster, PA. There was one opening left. She was accepted and became a nurse instead of a field hockey player! 🤪
